Who We Are
CORGI – the Cardiac Outcomes Research Group & Initiative – is an international collaborative platform dedicated to improving outcomes in cardiac surgery through data-driven research, shared learning, and clinical innovation. We bring together surgeons, researchers, and institutions to identify trends, measure performance, and ultimately elevate the quality and safety of heart surgery worldwide.

What We Do

We conduct a wide range of studies focused on cardiac surgical outcomes, including meta-analyses, retrospective and prospective analyses, as well as single-centre and multi-centre studies. Our research explores long-term survival, procedural safety, and advances in minimally invasive and innovative surgical techniques. -
Collaboration
We unite institutions and individual investigators across continents to standardize data collection, align objectives, and amplify impact. -
Outcomes Improvement
We analyze real-world data to identify trends, improve clinical practice, and publish impactful findings that help shape future care.
